Messiah of Israel

By Yeshua Ariel

          For you Jews, I am going to tell you an incredible story, one you have never heard; it is about you and your future and the Messiah you and this church world have rejected...yes, the church world has done exactly as Israel did in that they have rejected the Word of the God and have gone after their traditions; they want nothing to do with the truth because it cuts like a sword to their soul, and that is what happened at Sinai.

         But God is about to come out of His place to lay judgment on this generation, especially Israel and the church world, but if you genuinely want to know the truth, I am going to quote some for you out of your own Bible...the Tenakh, so do not be afraid.  You have been taught all your life to avoid the New Testament, but that is because your leaders know that if you read it, your conception about Jesus being the Messiah might indeed change, but I tell you that the Jesus this church world preaches is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING like he really is...I will, if you have the courage to read all this, show you what he did while he was here, and how that he has been rejected by this church world as well as Israel...but you see, that is not the end of the story, because God is about to change everything...that is why he has sent me, to open the Scriptures to you...the Law and Prophets; yes, I am Elijah.

          Now realize that I am NOT traditional...I am not a Reform Jew...I am not a Conservative Jew...I am not an Orthodox Jew...I am a Jew of the Bible...YOUR BIBLE, the Tenach.  Yes, I know my way around the church world very well, and am familiar with the Jewish community and your ways...and that is what I want to talk about...so, let's begin.  (note: I said I am not traditional...such as I do not refer to Yehovah with this: G-d; yes, it is supposed to show respect for the Holy Name, but that is only a pretense; if you want to HONOR  God...if you want to show Him respect, then you will OBEY HIM.)

           Did you know this is in your Bible, in the Book of Jeremiah?

31Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was a husband unto them, saith the LORD. 33But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the LORD: I will put my law in their inward parts, and in their heart will I write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people: 34and they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD; for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin will I remember no more.'  (Jer.31.31-34)

YOUR HEART...

          See: the problem is that you DO NOT KNOW GOD; your whole life is built around tradition which has very little truth in it...and yes, I do not sanction the Talmud or the Mishnah; they lead you away from God, not to Him; as I tell Christians, if you want to know God, you will find Him only when you get your heart right with Him, and your traditions defy the truth of the Tenach and the Torah.

          If God has established a NEW COVENANT, that is, to write His laws in your hearts, then how is that going to happen without you giving your heart to Him?  Without giving your heart to God, you will never EVER come to understand the Scriptures.

          Listen to this:

22For my people are foolish, they know me not; they are sottish children, and they have no understanding; they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.'  (Jer.4.22)

You do not know your God even though every aspect of your life is built around something in the Tenach, but it is all tradition...tradition that is not true nor does it bring you to your God.

The 'Christian' Church

          I have a book called, 'Basic Judaism' written by Milton Steinberg; he explains the Jewish view of Christianity, and he supposes Christianity is the Catholic Church...that it represents the New Testament; nothing could be further from the truth; the Catholic Church is the epitome of evil and is contrary to God in everything it does...and then there are the so-called 'Protestants,' who are only better in that they are not so bizarre, but there is no truth in any of them because they have done as you have done, which is to set up traditions and man-made explanations that negate the truth, but have done exactly what Israel has done in that they have also forsaken the truth to go their own ways, never mind what their Bibles say; you have forsaken the God of Israel.

          But you are taught from the very beginning that the so-called 'New Testament' is evil...to be shunned, while yet the saying in Judaism is, 'Learn all you can learn, know all you can know,' as they taught me in Judaism classes, whereas that is true EXCEPT when it comes to the New Testament; fact is, you do NOT have to be afraid of it, because this present church world does NOT REPRESENT THE NEW TESTAMENT in any way, shape or form; what you see out here in this church world GOD WILL DESTROY, just as He destroyed Israel at the first for rejecting Him at Sinai...after which God led them into the Wilderness where that generation perished, before Joshua took them into the Land.

          I want you to know this: there is NOTHING God hates more than for a Jew to convert to the Christianity of the church world...nothing!  It is going from one evil to another; yes my dear Jewish friend, your thoughts are not of God...God is the farthest thing from your mind...God never enters your thoughts except in a traditional way; you do not know God any better than a traditional Christian; there is no fear of God in your heart, and you do not know Him, and do not seek after Him therefore trouble is coming upon you.

 About me

          Alright, you wonder who I am...I am Elijah, yea, the Elijah promised to you in so many places; and again, your traditions are so foolish...so far away from what Elijah will really be like, that you would not know him if he were to come sit down at your Passover Table in the place you have set for him; you would expect him to sit there with a prayer shawl and kepah on, to do your traditional thing...NOT SO!  What does your prophet Malachi say?

1Behold, I send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the master, whom ye seek, will suddenly come to his temple; even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye desire, behold, he comes, saith the LORD of hosts. 2But who can abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appears? for he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fuller’s soap: 3and he will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver, and he will purify the sons of Levi, and refine them as gold and silver; and they shall offer unto the LORD offerings in righteousness.'  (Mal.3.1-3)

Here I am already talking about the New Covenant God promised you in Jeremiah...and it says he is the 'messenger of the covenant;' so do you suppose that I could really be him?!  Yea, I am he, and as you read, you will understand how that I am indeed as a refiner's fire and a fuller's soap, and how that I will purify you by the words which proceed out of my mouth.

          See: what do your TRADITIONS tell you about Elijah?...that he would come and establish your traditions, rebuild the Temple, and re-institute the sacrifices?...WHERE IN ALL THE TENACH DOES IT SAY ANYTHING LIKE THAT?!  IT DOES NOT!  But rather, what will he do?  Here:

4Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, even statutes and ordinances. 5Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the great and terrible day of the LORD come. 6And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers; lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.'  (Mal.4.4-6)

What will I do?  I will CHANGE HEARTS!  I will NOT re-establish your traditions, which are contrary to the Law...the Torah...but what I will do is to show you the NEW COVENANT God promised you by the mouth of Jeremiah.

          Consider: if God says He will make a NEW covenant with Israel, what happens to the covenant given to you by Moses?  Dare I say it is superseded by something  NEW?!  And WHY would a new covenant be necessary?  Because, under the Law of Moses, you could not be perfected, because while Moses cleansed your outer man, he did nothing for your INNER man...your heart...and that is what the New Covenant will do.

         Under Moses, you cleansed all things...your bodies, your clothes, your cooking utensils, even your houses, but it did not CLEANSE YOUR HEART.   The high priest, under Moses, went into the Tabernacle into the Holy of Holies once every year with a sacrifice of blood, to offer for himself and for the people...but he did it every year; why?  Because while the blood of bulls and goats, and the ashes of the red heifer cleansed you outwardly, it did nothing for you INWARDLY...IN YOUR HEART.

          So, if I be Elijah, what will I do?  Yea, I will show you from YOUR Bible how to be cleansed IN YOUR HEART...and you will quickly realize why God thrust Israel aside to go to the Gentiles with this message, because you will STILL reject the same message God would have given you at Sinai, when He spoke out of the cloud, and out of the fire, and gave you the Ten Commandments...but what did you do?  You said this:

18And all the people perceived the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the voice of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they trembled, and stood afar off. 19And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear; but let not God speak with us, lest we die.'  (Exo.20.18,19)

It was not the fire that they were afraid of; it was not the smoke and noise, it was the WORDS God spake; they rejected the Ten Commandments because as now, they convict you of your wicked ways and thus you have still rejected them...but this is the law God will write in your hearts.

          But you will say, 'How about all these statutes and ordinances Moses gave at God's Command?'   Here:

 18But I said unto their children in the wilderness, Walk ye not in the statutes of your fathers, neither observe their judgments, nor defile yourselves with their idols: 19I am the LORD your God; walk in my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; 20And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the LORD your God. 21Notwithstanding the children rebelled against me: they walked not in my statutes, neither kept my judgments to do them, which if a man do, he shall even live in them; they polluted my sabbaths: then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them, to accomplish my anger against them in the wilderness. 22Nevertheless I withdrew mine hand, and wrought for my name’s sake, that it should not be polluted in the sight of the heathen, in whose sight I brought them forth. 23I lifted up mine hand unto them also in the wilderness, that I would scatter them among the heathen, and disperse them through the countries; 24Because they had not executed my judgments, but had despised my statutes, and had polluted my sabbaths, and their eyes were after their fathers’ idols. 25Wherefore I gave them also statutes that were not good, and judgments whereby they should not live; 26And I polluted them in their own gifts, in that they caused to pass through the fire all that openeth the womb, that I might make them desolate, to the end that they might know that I am the LORD.'  (Eze.20.18-26)

Why would God give you statutes and ordinances that were not good?  Because of the hardness of your hearts, so that He could find occasion against you and bring judgment upon you...and this He has done since He allowed the kings of the nations around you to take you and the Land, and even now, that He has again gathered you into the Land again are you the better off?...but you are still a stiff-necked and stubborn people, as even the prophets have told you over and over.

          But now, you see, changes are coming.  With all this 'peace' talk in Israel, with your leaders giving away the Land of Israel...promised to Israel to be kept in perpetuity, as you may read (Lev.25.33,34), but there is more...much more to say about this; if you want more...if you want to see what Moses said about what will happen to Israel in the last days, then here...

 What will happen to Israel?

Will Peace come?

         Consider what is happening...Mahmoud Abbas, President of Palestine, said on the 19th of March 2006 that Palestinian militant groups have declared a 'cease-fire' and have accepted an 'unconditional cessation of attacks against Israel.'  In addition, King Abdullah II of Jordan will present a 'peace' plan at the Arab Summit coming up, and although it will be rejected, it does show the determination of the Arab world to deceive Israel into accepting their terms, and this is not to mention what PM Sharon is doing giving away land right and left to achieve this end, and what President Bush is doing to encourage it, so that it appears the whole world is coming together to make peace in Israel; so, do you suppose peace is finally coming to Israel?  But, before you answer, have you considered what GOD might think about all this...or do you even know that God has made some very sobering statements about this and about this moment in time?  Or do you suppose that all those statements by God are antiquated and obsolete?

            Will you be angry with me because I quote you your Bible?  Here:

25When thou shall beget children, and children’s children, and you shall have remained long in the land, and shall corrupt yourselves, and make a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, and shall do evil in the sight of the LORD thy God, to provoke him to anger: 26I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that ye shall soon utterly perish from off the land whereunto ye go over Jordan to possess it; you shall not prolong your days upon it, but shall utterly be destroyed. 27And the LORD shall scatter you among the nations, and ye shall be left few in number among the heathen, whither the LORD shall lead you. 28And there ye shall serve gods, the work of men’s hands, wood and stone, which neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell. 29But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul. 30When thou are in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the LORD thy God, and shall be obedient unto his voice..'  (Deu.4.25-30)

Now, if you read this carefully, did you notice verse 29...how that AFTER you are scattered over the face of the earth, it is THEN when you will call upon your God with all your heart and with all your soul...and note that it is in the LATTER days...which is significant since you have been scattered before?  And, will you try to say that Israel does seek after God with all their heart and soul NOW?!  I don't think you will even try to make that case, because you know God is the farthest thing from their mind right now...do I tell the truth?

              Then, what does all this lead to?  Can I say it...that Israel will yet be overrun by its enemies, and will yet be scattered all over the face of the earth, so that by no stretch of the imagination is Israel established in the land now, so that the events taking place now are condemned even now.

 Why has Elijah Come Now?

          Let me ask you this: if what I have said already is true...and the Scripture cannot be broken, then would it not seem reasonable and appropriate that God would have me come now?  And would not now be the appropriate time to send me to give you warning?  Again, God, even your God, would take you in and forgive you your sins, and all this trouble you have had since you came again into the land, would not have happened, had you turned to Him with all your heart and soul to do His commandments and to keep His ordinances.

          But consider: here I am, this little voice in the wilderness...no background, no lineage, no letters, no history...but was not Elijah the Tishbite, an inhabitant of Gilead? little more is said of him; am I not the same way?  My lineage is very sketchy, and about all I know is that my grandmother's maiden name on my mother's side was Wise and can be traced back to some Reform Rabbi in New York City; nothing to brag about, but that is not the end of the story, since God has kept me hidden for almost 48 years (see Isa.49.1-6) studying the Scriptures as no other man I know of in this generation.  I have read only about six pages out of the Talmud, I do not own a Mishnah, nor do I want it; I have used only Scripture...I have never used a commentary of any sort to find the answers.  So how do I qualify for this office?  Well, should God choose someone out of one of your academies, maybe Hebrew University?  Or maybe out of one of your Hasidic schools, yea and turn me into one of your 'pious ones!'  I don't think so, but since I am not learned in tradition, does that mean that I am not qualified?...God forbid that I had grown up in your traditions, lest I should be like the average Jew on the streets of Jerusalem wearing a derby hat, with curls of hair down the back of my neck, shaggy beard, and the fringes of my tallit showing!  Your Hasidim are no more 'pious' than a fruit cake...a kosher fruit cake; they are overcome of tradition which has drowned many a man and taken him into judgment.

            But what does God say in Isaiah 49 except that He would also send me to the Gentiles where I have already been for the past year; they rejected me, as you will reject me; I rebuked them, as I will also rebuke Israel, but it will be necessary to give God, even the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob an occasion to judge you, who have the word of God in your mouths but do not do them.

            But God has brought you together again in the Land so that He can deal with you as a people...as a nation; this time you will again reject Him and me whom He has sent, but you will be severely judged and scattered until you cry out as you did under the hand of Pharaoh...as then, even so will it be now, that God, even your God will hear you and will deliver you...but not until you repent and believe in your Messiah.

            Facts you do not know could be your salvation...but do you have the courage to read and to contemplate what God says?  Nevertheless, let me tell you a few facts about the New Testament, how that it was written by Jews...devout Jews, and one of them, Paul, was a Pharisee, of the Tribe of Benjamin; he had sat at the feet of Gamaliel, a doctor of the Law and held in high esteem in Israel; he was learned, and wrote 13 of the books of the New Testament; will you be afraid of him?  You have nothing to fear from any of the writers of the New Testament whose writings include hundreds of quotations from Moses and the Prophets.

 Facts about Yehoshua (Jesus)...the Messiah

          I know this makes you nervous, but it is only because you have been thoroughly brain washed by your rabbis and sages; if you only knew the Scriptures...YOUR SCRIPTURES then you would know that there is nothing evil or suspicious or of an ill nature about Jesus whose Hebrew name is Yehoshua, and transliterated to Joshua.  He was not a fake, but let me show you some things from the Tenach you have never heard; here:

Psalm 2:

Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.
10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
11 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
12
Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.'

Who is this 'Son'?  To which of the angels did God say, ..this day I have begotten you?  Will you run to your sages and rabbis to have them tell you? how about this: you have heard of the movie, the 'Passion,' but did you know that what they did to Jesus was much worse?!  Consider this, and read carefully as this text describes Jesus (Yehoshua) as he hung on the Tree:

Psalm 22

My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
 Why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my groaning?
O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou answerest not;
 And in the night season, and am not silent.
But thou art holy,
 O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.
Our fathers trusted in thee:
 They trusted, and thou didst deliver them.
5 They cried unto thee, and were delivered:
 They trusted in thee, and were not put to shame.
But I am a worm, and no man;
 A reproach of men, and despised of the people.
All they that see me laugh me to scorn:
 They shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,
Commit thyself unto the LORD;
 Let him deliver him:
 Let him rescue him, seeing he delighteth in him.
But thou art he that took me out of the womb;
 Thou didst make me trust when I was upon my mother’s breasts.
10 I was cast upon thee from the womb;
 Thou art my God since my mother bare me.
11 Be not far from me; for trouble is near;
 For there is none to help.
12 Many bulls have compassed me;
 Strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.
13 They gape upon me with their mouth,
 As a ravening and a roaring lion.
14 I am poured out like water,
 And all my bones are out of joint:
 My heart is like wax;
 It is melted within me.
15 My strength is dried up like a potsherd;
 And my tongue cleaveth to my jaws;
 And thou hast brought me into the dust of death.
16 For dogs have compassed me:
 A company of evil-doers have inclosed me;
 They pierced my hands and my feet.
17 I may count all my bones;
 They look and stare upon me.
18
 They part my garments among them,
 And upon my vesture do they cast lots...'

'I am a worm...'; he saw himself so debased...so humiliated...so rejected...he saw himself as the lowest form of life...a worm!  Then he describes himself...my tongue cleaves to my jaws...I count all my bones...' the words of the Messiah of Israel, rejected of Israel and all; these words are quoted and preserved in the New Testament.  These are the words of the Messiah on the Tree, as they took him, nailed him there after beating and scourging him all on the 14th Day of Nisan, the Day of Preparation, so that he would become the Passover Lamb...a perfect sacrifice for your sins...

And, if you have the courage, here is more:

13Behold, my servant shall deal wisely, he shall be exalted and lifted up, and shall be very high. 14Like as many were astonished at thee (his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men), 15so shall he sprinkle many nations; kings shall shut their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they understand.

1Who hath believed our message? and to whom hath the arm of the LORD been revealed? 2For he grew up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. 3He was despised, and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and as one from whom men hide their face he was despised; and we esteemed him not.  4Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows; yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 6All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.'  (Isa.52.13-53.6)

His appearance, and what he went through, was more than ANY MAN has ever endured...and consider what Saddam Hussain was capable of...and the Nazis and all the rest over the ages...Yehoshua suffered more, so that no man could ever say that he suffered more than the Lamb  of God, the Messiah of Israel.

           So, consider this:

4Who hath ascended up into heaven, and descended?
 Who hath gathered the wind in his fists?
 Who hath bound the waters in his garment?
 Who hath established all the ends of the earth?
 What is his name, and what is his son’s name, if thou knowest?'  (Pro.30.4)

Did you know your Bible said these things?  If therefore, you now know, what will you do?  Will you remain in your unbelief and be judged, or will you repent and turn to God with all your heart, and indeed receive His Son?

          The choice is yours, and while there is much more I could add, I will let this suffice.

          Email me, if you have any questions; you will find me easy to be entreated and gentle as even my Lord is...

 The Details

I set my face like flint...

(Isa.50.7)

The bridge of his nose is swollen, his mustache and beard pulled out by the roots, bruised and blood; this is not a work of art...this is a rough portrait of what it was really like.

Amen
